Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn is an American actress from America. She is most famous for her role as Skyler White in Breaking Bad, an AMC Drama series Breaking Bad for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actor in the Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. As well as playing Martha Bullock and Jean Ward She has also appeared on The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in the year 1968. She fell in love performing in Preparatory School after which she moved to Ohio together with her family during the mid-70s. The theatre school she attended was Northwestern University, and spent an entire semester at the British American Drama Academy. Anna began her journey in Chicago performing in stage roles for many years. Then she moved to Hollywood, where she began her acting career in TV shows and films. Anna got her big break in 1992 when she appeared as Arden for the duration of 29 episodes on Down the Shore. Following her appearance as a Guest Actor in a variety of TV Shows and Films, including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue during the 90's and was later given the role of Jean Ward as part of The Practice. In 2000, she was cast in Deadwood playing Martha Bullock for two full seasons. In 2008 she was cast in the role of Skyler in Breaking Bad. Sully as well as Deadwood was a different film that she was a part of. Gunn took the stage in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. In 2022, Gunn also was a part of a four-part audio-play series named "Numbered Days". Breaking Bad is often centered around the relationship of Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their relationship is strained and eventual end resembles the final years in Walter White's story.
